At IECC, we are committed to a transparent and fair process. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds related to our accreditation services.

The International Evaluation and Certification Center (IECC) is a non-governmental organization registered in the State of Delaware, USA, through the Delaware Court of Chancery. IECC is also registered in the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) NGO Branch through the eSANGO system under Profile Code 709400.

Refund Policy at a Glance

Application Fees Generally non-refundable once review has commenced.
Assessment & Annual Fees Generally non-refundable, with limited exceptions for assessment fees if cancelled well in advance.

This policy applies to all fees paid for services provided by IECC. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, refunds follow the rules below. Some services include non-refundable evaluation or processing fees.

1. Accreditation Service Fees

  • Application Fee: Strictly non-refundable once the application has been submitted and initial review has commenced.
  • Assessment Fees (On-site/Remote): Refundable only if a cancellation request is received in writing at least 30 calendar days before the scheduled assessment. A 25% administrative fee will be deducted. No refunds are available for cancellations made within 30 days of the assessment.
  • Annual Accreditation Fee: Non-refundable once paid, as it covers the cost of maintaining the accreditation status, directory listing, and surveillance planning for the year.

2. Exceptions and Non-Refundable Items

  • Downloadable or delivered digital materials once accessed
  • Banking, currency conversion, and third-party processing fees
  • Services already rendered or partially rendered where prorating is not feasible

3. Refund Request Process

To request a refund:

  1. Submit a written request to refunds@iecc.world
  2. Include your order number, service details, and reason for refund
  3. Allow 5??0 business days for review; we may request supporting documents
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days
  5. Refunds issued to original payment method

4. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting IECC to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to suspend services and charge a reasonable administrative fee to cover investigation costs.

5. Appeals

If your refund request is denied, you may appeal by replying to the decision email within 10 business days with additional information. Appeals will be reviewed by a senior representative within 10 business days.

6. Force Majeure

IECC shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond IECC¡¯s reasonable control, including, without limitation, mechanical, electronic, or communications failure or degradation. In such cases, refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Policy Modifications

IECC reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on this page. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.

Important: Processing fees are non-refundable. Refund timelines may vary based on your payment provider.
