Terms and conditions governing the use of our services

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by the International Evaluation and Certification Center ("IECC", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The International Evaluation and Certification Center (IECC) is a non-governmental organization registered in the State of Delaware, USA, through the Delaware Court of Chancery. IECC is also registered in the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) NGO Branch through the eSANGO system under Profile Code 709400.
Services means our websites, applications, and services related to our standard-setting and accreditation activities. User or you means any person or entity accessing the Services.
By creating an account, submitting an application for accreditation, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

All content, trademarks, and materials on our website are owned by IECC or its licensors. You may not:
You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in the content you submit (e.g., documents, forms, feedback). When you submit content to our Services, you grant IECC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Services. You represent that you have the necessary rights to grant us this license.
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party tools (e.g., analytics, payments). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services immediately for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, security risks, or legal compliance reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately.
The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IECC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to IECC in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IECC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
IECC is an independent, private certification body and is not affiliated with, nor a member of, the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) or any national accreditation body (e.g., UKAS, ANAB, CNAS). "ISO" is a registered trademark of the International Organization for Standardization. References to ISO standards within the Services indicate conformance with those standards and do not imply endorsement by ISO.
Acceptance and recognition of IECC certificates depend on the policies of individual organizations, contractual requirements, and market practices. IECC does not warrant suitability for any specific procurement, regulatory, or contractual purpose. Clients are responsible for verifying suitability before engagement.
The only valid IECC certificate is one that can be verified through our official verification portal and contains an authentic certificate number and holder details. See also our Certificate Status & Revocation Policy.
IECC reserves the right to suspend or revoke certificates obtained or used fraudulently, or where misuse of our name, marks, or materials is identified. Suspected misuse or forgery should be reported to legal@iecc.world.
Before filing a claim against IECC, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting legal@iecc.world. We'll try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting you via email. If a dispute is not resolved within 30 days of submission, you or IECC may bring a formal proceeding.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflicts of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Dover, Delaware.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
